I think I recognise Janet Middleton and her Mother, also, Joanne Sheen and her parents.

Alfie, Your are dead right. Hubert Grady is on the right of the photo and his mother is standing in front of him. I am sure that one of the Kelly lads from Brompark and a couple of his sisters are also pictured on the right of the photo also. Edgar Halpin is in the middle of the photo and Paddy Mc Quiilan is on the left at the back. I thought at first glance that this was Hughie Keenan. I am not so sure but I think that there are two Esh Winning lasses on the photo also. Maggie Brennan in the green hat looking away from the camera and her sister Katie in the white hat. Maggie was married to Peter Rochford who ran a milk business in Esh Winning and Katie married Bill Quinn who was the headmaster at Newhouse School in Esh Winning and Bill was also a very good cricketer and I think he payed for both Ushaw Moor and Esh Winning. Photos like this tell many things to many different people and can take the place of a lot of text and are easier on the eye. Brian Mc
